DIGITAL PRACTICES TO ENHANCE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE

Abstract. The term “cultural heritage” has been enriched with multiple contents in the last decades, partly thanks to protection instruments developed by UNESCO. Despite past, cultural heritage is not limited monuments and collections of objects. nowadays includes tangible intangible (ICH). ICH traditions or living expressions inherited from our ancestors passed on descendants, such as oral traditions, performing arts, social practices, rituals, festive events, knowledge practices concerning nature universe skills produce traditional crafts. Within this context, Museum “Passione di Sordevolo” preserves spreads value largest representation popular Christian theatre Italy, called “La Passione Sordevolo”. paper presents results research reconstructive modelling visual storytelling project "Digital historical scenic design". explores use digital technologies create new content compatible Museum’s mission: dissemination, communication valorization documentary (photographs, sketches, drawings) systematic collection tradition theatrical tradition.
